Paul C. Moore (Stump), 52, of Savannah, Georgia passed away on July 6, 2014 with his wife by his side. Stump was born in Savannah, Georgia. He attended parochial schools throughout elementary then on to Benedictine Military School, graduating in 1980. Stump was a longstanding member of the I.B.E.W. local 508 and worked as an electrician for more than 30 years. He was an avid fisherman. His passion for being on the water was something he enjoyed doing with his family. Many afternoons, Stump would be down at the community dock enjoying the afternoon sunsets. Stump also enjoyed racing homing pigeons, a hobby he learned from his father.
Stump is preceded in death by his parents, Clayton and Jane Moore, and a sister Mary Catherine Bacon Moore.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Daphne and two sons, Daniel Ryan Moore and 2nd Class Petty Officer Michael Luther, USN. He is also survived by his siblings, Angie Romagosa (Mark), Claire Tackett (Ray), Brenda Moore, Bernie Moore (Debbie), Joe Moore (Tina) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Rosary will take place at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, Wednesday July 9, 2014 beginning at 6:00 p.m. with visitation immediately afterwards until 8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church with interment to follow in Greenwich Cemetery.
